The House!

A couple weeks ago Lisa (the other LVCer Music Ed student going this fall) and I got the information about our house! Apparently it's the same one that the girls who went last year stayed in, and they said it's very small haha, but it looks very cute as well. The sheet says it's about a 15min walk to campus, and it's basically right off one of the main drags of town. Quite centrally located. 

I think it looks like something right out of Across the Universe.

Pretty exciting! It's definitely good to know that we have a concrete, actually existing place to stay haha, not just some theoretical thing that may or may not be available when we get there. No reason to worry about that. *whew*

Everything else is basically as before. I feel like summer is dwindling away awfully quickly, which is kind of a bummer because I'm a big fan of it as a general rule... when I'm not in an office... such is life, gotta make some money. Actually quite a bit of money for this trip haha. Keep your fingers crossed for the exchange rate...

Once things really get going in terms of planning I'll check back. For now though we're just sorting out cell phone and credit card options and trying to stay ahead before things get crazy. It's sinking in more almost everyday, which is probably good for my sense of reality, but also very nerve-wracking, with dreams of goodbyes in airports. I've been trying to replace them with dreams of reunion, but I don't want to wish this trip away either. 

I guess we'll just figure it out as we go along.
